I have to confess I’d never heard of this author before I found the quote via the InkPop (or now Figment) page on Facebook. (For those of you who don’t know, Figment is the YA version of Authonomy), a site I really don’t talk about enough here, but I think I’ll make a post about tomorrow. Every so often Figment shares an authors quote that I really like so I decide to share it on my own Facebook page, but something about this particular quote really resonated with me. So much so, I decided to make a little graphic for it.
Originally, like most of my graphics I’d intended for this particular graphic to feature text that was more grungy, the kind of text that can be found almost everywhere on my blog (with the exception of body copy). But I decided to think out of my normal grunge mode and came up with something a little different for this particular quote. I definitely wanted to go for a look that had a bit of movement in it to make it more visually appealing than my last graphic.
Let me know what you think in the comments below.
Also, I’m not going to be doing anymore title graphics for quote of the day posts… it seems a bit excessive.
